Qualification for the Major starts in 2024, with the first open qualifiers taking place on January 8-9. These qualifiers will be global, with closed qualifiers scheduled from January 19 to 21. There are some regional variations: in North America, closed qualifiers will begin a week earlier, from January 12-14, and in the Middle East, they will be held a week later, from January 26-28. The Regional Major Rankings (RMR) events, crucial for qualification, are scheduled for February-March 2024, with specific dates varying by region. These RMR events will ultimately determine the 24 teams that will compete in the CS2 Major.
