    “Mirar toda la región nos ayuda a comprender las peculiaridades y tendencias de cada mercado, además de identificar nuevas oportunidades para el patrocinio y los patrocinados” declaró Bernardo Neto, el director de la casa de esta investigación, IBOPE Repucom.

    Esta relevancia y auge del sector en los últimos dos años en volumen de exposición de marcas entre los principales clubes latinoamericanos, se ve reflejada en los principales anunciantes del segmento, según cada país: 

    1° Brasil. Sin duda encabeza este top y es que este país, posee la mayor cantidad de patrocinios en los clubes brasileros, son cerca de 20 en la lista de sus patrocinados de la serie A, en la que resaltan 8 de las casas de apuestas de Brasil. 

    2° Ecuador. En el que resalta la presencia publicitaria de 4 marcas de apuestas como patrocinadores de algunos clubes latinoamericanos.

    3° Perú. Liderado por la misma presencia de patrocinadores que en Ecuador, con marcas que han ido ganando relevancia en la industria local.

    4° Argentina. con 3 casas de buena apuestas como patrocinadores de los uniformes de algunos de los principales equipos de América Latina.

    5° Chile. que en el estudio se logra mapear a 2 casas de apuestas con inversión publicitaria en las camisetas de clubes de fútbol latinoamericanos.

    Siguiendo la lista: México con 2 marcas figurantes y también, Venezuela y Paraguay, con una sola marca patrocinadora. Mientras que Uruguay y Bolivia no registran patrocinios dado sus legislaciones.

    ¿Qué ocurre en el patrocinio con las apuestas?

    “Es notorio el potencial del patrocinio que los clubes ofrecen, sobre todo cuando miramos el horizonte de mediano plazo, tanto para marcas/sectores como para el desempeño del patrocinio, sea local o global” indicó Arthur Bernardo Neto, el director de IBOPE Repucom, compañía que realizó el estudio.

    Y es que esta tendencia, es de las más ejecutadas publicitariamente y tiene una mayor predominancia en las marcas de apuestas deportivas.

    Un marcado ejemplo de ello, ocurre en el fútbol brasilero cuyo liderazgo en patrocinios pertenece a las casas de apuestas, pese a ser un sector que aún no ha sido regulado en el país. Les antecede una ley que permite operar a las empresas de apuestas deportivas en Brasil que data del 2018; sin embargo, las reglas para que el sector se desarrolle en dicha actividad económica dentro del país, no han sido establecidas por el gobierno federal hasta la actualidad. 

    Máxima visibilización de las apuestas deportivas

    Siguiendo los resultados de la encuesta de IBOPE, se pudo determinar que en los últimos 2 años, el sector de las apuestas deportivas ha atravesado un exponencial crecimiento y exposición en un corto periodo de tiempo. Este rubro escaló rápidamente siete posiciones y en la actualidad, ocupa el segundo lugar entre las categoría del mercado con un mayor volumen de exposición de marca, sobre todo entre los principales clubes de fútbol de la región. ¿No es sorprendente su rápida evolución? 

    Realizando un breve análisis del 2020, a nivel LATAM(excepto Brasil), las marcas de apuestas deportivas contabilizaron solo 19 apariciones con uniforme versus hoy, que suman 40 y en la mayoría de ellas en la parte frontal, conocido como “frente maestro”, siendo la posición más noble del uniforme.

    Y es que solo en Brasil, este crecimiento del sector se vió reflejado ese mismo año, que alcanzó el primer lugar en volumen de marcas expuestas en uniformes de élite del fútbol brasilero. Solo el gigante sudamericano pasó de 16 exhibiciones a 24 exhibiciones en la actualidad. 

    Dicho estudio, también mostró que el 35% de los patrocinadores de los principales clubes latinoamericanos (excluyendo Brasil) en 2022 son nuevos. A su vez, muestra que del total de patrocinadores en 2020, el 42% de ellos continuaron patrocinio de los principales clubes de la región este 2022.

    El segmento de apuestas deportivas fue el de mayor desarrollo en la región, ocupando el segundo lugar en el ranking de sectores que actualmente plomo en el volumen de la exposición marca uniforme en América Latina y la primera posición si consideramos sólo los 20 clubes del campeonato de la Serie A brasileña.

    Entendamos que este estudio, únicamente analizó el exponencial crecimiento en el patrocinio futbolero a nivel de camisetas, ¿imaginan los resultados a un análisis más profundo?

    Estos números generan una alta expectativa, de que con la correcta regulación de la industria, los próximos años la inversión será mucho mayor y provechosa para el sector del azar y porqué no, también el futbolero.

    El sector de las apuestas ha tenido un crecimiento abismal y ganado mayor presencia en casi todos los países latinoamericanos, a excepción de Uruguay y Bolivia, pues dichos territorios cuentan con legislaciones más restrictivas en la materia.
