  • 3 Reasons to Use an Article Writing Service

Anyone who knows anything about SEO knows that content is king. When creating a website that you want to rank in Google or other search engines for certain keywords you need quality content on your site and lots of it. If you do not write well or simply do not have the time to invest in writing content for your website than you need to outsource to an article writing service.

It used to be that you could rank in Google with just one page of content on your website. Those days are long gone and Google now ranks at the top of their search engine result pages, sites with a lot of quality content on them.

Quantity and quality of your content is not the only thing that is important. You also need to know how to strategically place keywords inside your posts or articles so that you have an increased chance of ranking in the search engines for that particular phrase. When you use an SEO article writing service to write your articles they know the important places where your keywords needs to be placed and this will help you rank in Google for those phrases.

Another reason you should employ article writing services to produce your content is to free yourself up for other important internet marketing tasks. Setting up sites, gathering backlinks and posting the articles you’ve had written on article directories all take a lot of time. What about researching new ideas for new websites and projects? If you are bogged down with writing content, you won’t have time to build your business.

  • 3 Article Writing Tips Every Article Writer Needs to Know

Oh boy, here we go again with the same old worn out article writing tips that every article with this type of title gets.

    Remember bullets and numbering
    Use short snappy paragraphs
Keep your articles between 300 and 500 words in length
    Yawn!!!

Don’t you wish that an article writer would actually be gutsy enough to come out with something fresh to share about article marketing? It’s almost like doing their freelance article writing just to get clicks to their Web projects.

Truth is, they are, and so do I.

But, that doesn’t mean we can’t bring forth new easy to follow content for article readers to learn from. Actually, that is exactly what I plan to do in this article so keep reading.

    *** SEO Article Writing ***

There are books of information available on SEO article writing, but who has time to read them all? Aren’t we supposed to be writing?

It’s Google to the rescue on this one with their Wonder Wheel. Go Google something, anything and in the results on the left side you’ll see a bunch of cool new free tools that Google provides. Scan down the list till you get to the Wonder Wheel.

The Wonder Wheel provides you with all the related keywords to your main keyword that are available on the Web. Put “quotes” around your keyword phrase for even more targeted results.

Gather the words that make sense with your main keyword.

To do this I normally open a notepad and make two headings.

PRIMARY (I put my main keyword here)
SECONDARY (I put the related keywords that the Wonder Wheel tells me about here)
Now I can go about article marketing while weaving Google’s content into my article. This is called LSI (Latency Semantic Indexing) SEO article writing, and it is appreciated by humans and search engines alike as it delivers much more than your rehashed hashed articles.

    *** Article Marketing ***

Many people write articles and expect the audience to come. Perhaps that worked in the beginning, but it sure doesn’t work today with flying colors.

Even if you created a smash hit article, it has trouble picking up momentum if you don’t talk about it.

See, in the “real world” it’s all about “word of mouth.” On the Internet it’s called “word of web” and functions by communications with…

    Social networking communities
    Social bookmarking networks
    Blog and forum postings
Whatever it takes to bring momentum to the equation is what you need to do after completing your article.

Here are the steps I generally take.

Write and publish article on article directory.
Point to article from social bookmarking networks
    Ping the social bookmarking networks
This causes momentum to build for your project which leads to more views, more excitement and more publicity for the article even if it is about article writing tips.

*** You Gotta Be Me ***

My last point is probably a given for most people.

    You gotta be me!

Well, not me me, but you me.

Oh boy, let’s see if I can explain.

Originality gets shared. Even if it is not 100% grammatically correct, originality gets shared. There is nothing better than a finally tuned referral system to grow your success on the Web.Submit article

  • SEO Article Writing – Earning $1 Per Subscriber

If you really want to be profitable online you must be willing to work harder and carry out more techniques that the average webmaster. Let’s take a look at what you can achieve if you follow this recommendation. Suppose you have a tight niche website and for your chosen set of keywords there are no less than 100,000 searches online each month.

Let’s also assume that the surfers for your particular niche spend quite a bit of money online thus making your hypothetical niche reasonably profitable to market in. Now what you need to do is get your fair share of those monthly searches. You probably don’t really need that many. If you are in the right niche you should be able to generate $1 per month per unique visitor that comes to your site.

What this means is that you could generate $5,000 per month if you could capture 5% of the total number of visitors who search that niche keyword per month. All you would need to do is achieve a search engine ranking of #10. However, if you could achieve #1 spot then that would increase your earnings.

Now if you are a new entrant the only way you will be able to achieve a 5% share of the total number of unique visitors is if you do extra work and apply more than one or even two marketing techniques. Are you up for that? Are you willing to take whatever steps are necessary to generate the type of income most people only dream of?

  • SEO Article Writing – 4 Quick Steps to Begin Writing Articles

Writing articles can be profitable, if you know how to write well. You also need to have the determination to be able to write everyday. If you are thinking about writing articles and would like help with this there are 4 quick steps to begin writing articles that you should read and digest.

    1. Choose a good place to write. As most writers will now use PCs to write on this will mean having a desktop computer or laptop, a desk and a chair as a bare minimum. Make sure wherever you write is comfortable and is somewhere that you can have a little peace and quiet.

    2. Research your articles. If you get a request for articles on subject you are not familiar with you will need to research it. Make sure you only note down the points that are relevant to the topic and don’t spend too long reading up on a topic. Keep all of your notes for future reference as you never know when you will need to refer back to them.

    3. Think about bullet points. Some articles work well when they are written in bullet point form. Articles that are on the advantages of using a product or which contain a lot of information work well like this. By using bullet points you can almost summarise an article rather than work the information into separate paragraphs.

    4. Be accurate. If you are using facts and figures make sure that they are correct. Stating that something is true in an article and then giving false information is not how a good writer would work. So make sure that you check all facts before you decide to include them in your articles, otherwise you could have some angry readers on your hands.

  • SEO Article Writing – Can Articles Create a Home Business For You?

Yes, of course they can. Anyone who wants to spend more time with their family or have the freedom to choose their own hours might want to seriously consider starting a home business. One of the issues with this traditionally has been that many businesses that are home based are franchises. These require quite a large investment from individuals who want to work from home and this can put a lot of people off. Right now however there are more people who are wondering can articles create a home business?

There is no real definitive answer to this as it very much depends on whether or not a person can write enough articles each day to generate sufficient traffic. If a person can only manage around 1500 words per day, which is quite a high word count for non-writers, they are unlikely to be able to make a home business from articles.

Anyone who is able to write between 10-20 articles each day could find that they are able to earn quite a reasonable amount of money. However, this can often still not be enough to really create a home business, unless you can find someone who is willing to pay $5-$10 per article. People who are able to write more than this can find that they can create a home business from articles, but it does take a lot of effort.

The other choice is to write articles to promote your own services or products. That’s one of the best ways to utilise articles as you are in total control, you decide how much you generate and of course all the money you earn belongs to you.

  • Easy SEO Article Writing Basics For You

Are you writing articles for the Web? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is fundamental — here are four tips which will help you to learn this skill.

Firstly, let’s look at why SEO is important: SEO helps your articles to be found. People looking for information use the Web search engines, which are basically indexing software.

Therefore, you need to include the search terms — the keywords — for which people are searching in your articles to ensure that the articles are found.

    1. Choose Your Primary Keyword With Care

If you’re writing Web articles for a buyer, you’ll usually be given a set of keywords to target (include) in your articles.

But what if you’re writing articles for yourself? In this case, you need to create your own keyword list. For each article, choose a primary keyword. (Only one.) You’ll include this keyword in the article title, as well as in the first paragraph of the article.

You can also choose a secondary keyword if you wish. However, once you’ve chosen your primary keyword, just focus on writing an excellent article.

    2. Write an Excellent Article — Be Original

You must also remember your article’s readers. So your article must not only be original, it should also provide useful information. While keywords are a primary tool of SEO, links are equally important. An article will only be linked to from other sites and blogs if the information is great.

Strive to make your articles “linkworthy”. The more links any article collects, the more likely it is to be found by searchers.

    3. Avoid Keyword Stuffing

As a Web writer, you’ll often work with buyers of your writing who are unfamiliar with the Web, and they may use terms like “keyword density”.

Years ago, when the search engines were less powerful than they are now, having keywords appear several times in an article was important. Nowadays, repeating keywords is more likely to get an article labelled as Web spam. Using a keyword too often is known as “keyword stuffing”: avoid it.

Use keywords naturally — once you’ve placed a keyword in an article title, and again in the first paragraph, it’s not necessary to repeat it again, unless you’re doing it naturally in the flow of writing.

    4. Great Keywords Lead to Great Articles: Keyword Ideas

Because keywords are so essential to ensuring that content is found on the Web, it’s vital to use those search terms which are used by Web searchers. Often they’re keywords you wouldn’t use yourself.

Therefore, when you’re writing articles for others, ask to see customers’ communications and questions, and also any lists the buyer has of search terms from the site’s Web logs.

These sources will often give you great keyword ideas for articles, and the better your keywords, the more effective your articles will be.

  • SEO Article Writing: How Can I Get A Higher Ranking For My Articles In Google?

I get the best questions from readers about doing article submissions, and this is one that I’ve received several times from different people.

They want to know how to get a consistently high search engine ranking and PageRank for their articles in Google, as they’ve noticed their articles can start off with a high ranking, but then they lose traction over time.

I’m glad to answer this question, as it gives me the chance to clear up a common misconception with article marketing–that it’s the articles themselves that you’re trying to get a high ranking for.

To clarify, what you’re really shooting for is a high ranking for your own website when people search for keywords associated with your site, rather than the articles themselves.

The articles are just a tool–you’re using your free reprint articles to get a higher ranking for your website. The articles themselves will not necessarily get or maintain a high ranking. If they do it’s wonderful, but really it’s icing on the cake and shouldn’t contribute to your measurement of your success.

By the way, in case you’re wondering why your articles start out strong in Google (and the other search engines) and then lose traction over time, it’s because of the freshness of the content.

This is why a newly released article may appear high in the rankings, at least to start with. Google wants to provide its users with the latest information, and once the article is no longer considered “fresh”, then content that’s been around a while and that’s based on those same keyword phrases can start to outrank it.

Incidentally, this works in your favor, because it shows that it’s not always new content that gets the high ranking. There are all sorts of indicators that Google evaluates when deciding which sites to rank and in what order, and the authority or usefulness of a site is a main consideration.

The older a web page is, the more time it has had to build authority and power. You very well may see your articles that have fallen down the rankings start to climb back up after a while, if the article has proven to be consistently useful to the readers.

Now, back to the original question–if the ranking of your article is not the definitive thing to look for, what is?

Here are two stats that are great for indicating how you’re doing in your article marketing campaign:

1 – Monitor the search engine ranking for your website for the keywords associated with your site.

That may sound technical, but really it’s pretty simple. Every web page is about a topic. Some are more focused than others, but hopefully if you have a website that you’re trying to market, you have a definite topic that your website is about.

Now, step into your potential readers’ shoes:

When they go to Google, what are they typing into the search box when they’re looking for information on your topic?

If your website is about dog training, you might discover that people are typing “how to train a dog” into Google’s search box. That could be one of your “keywords” or “keyword phrases”.

So, one of your first steps in marketing your website online is to compile a list of keywords for your website.

Once you’ve done that, then you would go to Google and type each keyword phrase into the search box, and see where your website is listed in the rankings. This is the ultimate gauge of success–your goal is for your website to be on page one of the results for your keyword terms, ideally appearing in the #1 position.

2 – Track your website traffic.

A related stat to the search engine ranking is your own website traffic. The reason why these two stats are related is that the higher your site appears in Google’s rankings, the more traffic will be coming to your website.

Remember, all of this takes time, and this stats tracking you’re doing is done just one time a month.

If you’re just starting to market your website, it can take a few months of consistent article submissions before you start to see any positive change in the search engines–that’s normal. But you’ll eventually see your site starting to climb up the rankings, sometimes making big jumps and other times either holding its position or making smaller jumps.

You’ll see how amazing it is that with article marketing you can actually influence Google’s rankings for your website, and that’s what will lead to the most dramatic results.

  • SEO Article Writing – How to Create an Article Blueprint – Part II

Let’s continue with the sample body of the article:

    1. B) Sprouts are organic. They contain no fumigants, pesticides or chemicals. You can trust that they are pure because they need no external additives, just water.

    C) Sprouts are very economical. Seeds can produce six to 15 times their weight. Seeds that yield 26 cents per pound is fantastic economy.

    D) Sprouts are available every single day of the week, every season of the year, from Alaska to Zimbabwe. These live foods can be enjoyed anywhere and at any time.

    E) Even a child can grow a weekly supply of sprouts. You just need to add water to the sprouts and keep them in a cool, warm place. Soil, tools and green fingers not required.

Two paragraphs or sentences as conclusion of your article. I’m going to use another example, this time, using article marketing as a topic.

“Discover the Secrets to Article Marketing – 5 Ways to Make Your Articles Captivating”.

    1) One or two paragraphs or sentences as introduction.

    2) Three or four supporting ideas for the body of your article:
    A)A plan.
    B)Your title.
    C)Giving away information.
    D)Here are some ideas.
    E)Vocabulary.

    3) One or two paragraphs or sentences as conclusion.

Now, your blueprint doesn’t have to be that long or in-depth. The examples above will suffice. Your article should be between 400 and 600 words in length, and your articles need to be tightly themed. You want to give your reader quality content, and at the same time, you want your reader to click through to your website or squeeze page after reading your article.

Your introductory paragraph is paramount. It needs to give your reader an indication of what the remainder of the article will be, and it needs to do this quickly and succinctly. By reading the introduction, your reader must be told what they are going to learn. Otherwise, there is no benefit in them reading further.

Do you want to learn more about how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide to article writing to build your list:

  • SEO Article Writing – Using Different Types of Keywords in Articles and Resource Boxes

You’ve done your keyword research and are trying to figure out how to use your keywords in your articles.

What are you supposed to do with the words in your list in respect to your articles?

Do you just use all of your keywords in the same way, or are there different types of keywords that have different functions in your article marketing campaign?

These are great questions, and when you understand the two different types of keywords and how they work, your article marketing strategy will be transformed.

The first type of keyword phrase is one you’re probably familiar with: the two word phrase that is very popular in your niche. This type of phrase is very competitive, meaning that many people are searching for it and many website owners are also targeting it as well. So, you have high demand and high supply.

It is more difficult to rank highly for these terms since there is so much competition. These shorter competitive terms will be part of your long term strategy for increasing your website’s ranking for those particular phrases.

You would use these special two word phrases in your resource boxes. With each article that you submit, create an HTML resource box that uses one of your main keyword phrases as anchor text. Do not use the same keyword for each article – switch it up. This is very important as hyperlinking the same phrase every time can look manipulative in Google’s eyes. Vary the key phrases that you use as anchor text in your resource box.

What about using keywords in the article title and the article body?

This is where the other type of keyword phrase comes in: the long tail phrase.

The long tail keyword phrase is three to five words long. It is usually very specific and has much less competition than the shorter phrases. Because it has less competition, it is easier to rank highly for this longer phrase.

You will use your long tail keyword phrases as a jumping off point for your articles and article titles. The idea with the long tail phrase is to get your article ranking highly for that phrase. If you consistently write articles based off of your long tail keywords, then you will eventually create enough content to completely cover your niche. So, whenever someone types in a longer search term related to your topic, one of your articles will pop up high in Google.

Each one of these key phrases has a job to do:

The shorter more competitive phrases play a long term role in getting a higher ranking for your website for those particular search terms. When you use that shorter phrase as anchor text in your resource box, you are sending a message to Google about what your website is about (rather than what the article is about). You increase your website traffic by getting a higher ranking for this popular term.

The importance of that link is highlighted by the context in which it is found. For example, if you’re writing about ballroom dancing, and then linking to a website on that same topic, this sends a powerful message to Google. That link is more significant than if you wrote about fishing and then linked to a site about ballroom dancing. A link from a web page on an unrelated topic would be out of context and wouldn’t make much sense to Google.

The longer phrases are more about the article itself and driving traffic to your site through the article. When the article ranks highly for that longer, less competitive key phrase, then people click through to read the article, and then click the link in your resource box.

Now you know that not all keywords are created equal! Some are meant to serve a long term purpose, while others work more in the short term. If you know the difference between the two types of keywords and how to use them in your articles, then you are much more likely to see the results that you’re hoping for.
