Surrey Adventure Farm Park tvingades stänga efter att E.coli-utbrottet infekterade tre barn

Hobbledown Adventure Farm Park and Zoo i Epsom, Surrey , har varit stängd sedan den 27 juli efter att tre barn insjuknat i bakterieinfektionen efter deras besök på attraktionen.

Symtom på infektionen inkluderar magkramper, mild till blodig diarré och kräkningar, och vissa lider också av hög feber.

Stängningen kommer vid en populär tidpunkt för attraktionen.

Parken har inget fastställt datum en naturlekplats med inspiration från naturen för återöppning, men “hoppas [det kommer att bli] så snart som möjligt”.

Hobbledown har kontaktat alla som varit på besök sedan den 12 juli för att uppmärksamma dem på symptomen.

Samtidigt undersöker UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) för närvarande fallen av STEC (Shiga-toxin-producerande Escherichia coli) och testar på platsen, tillsammans med miljövårdstjänstemän från det lokala rådet.
